NEW RELEASES - WINTER 2008

 Wind Through the Evergreens
 Through a child's eyes
The Retrospective CD is the best of my solo acoustic piano work over the last two decades.

Fourteen songs in all, these are my favorites of my best live performances in the studio.

Recorded professionally in two different studios, and on two different grand pianos;

A 9ft. 1935 Steinway and Sons, at Raw Records in Port Townsend

7ft Yamaha at Synergy Sound,

The musical evolution of Buzz Rogowski on one CD!

 Hope is the Key
 The Ocean
Another beautiful acoustic solo piano offering this year. This is a Live performance on a wonderful piano, recorded in a beautifully reverberant acoustical space at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Port Hadlock last year.
Originally I produced it as a limited edition for those that attended the concert, but I am making a few more copies available for sale for the holidays.

It is the definitive live performance of my compositions on a beautiful Kawai 7ft Grand Piano located in the sanctuary of the church with its cathedral ceilings and beautiful woodwork, and recorded direct to digital by Tom Brown.

This is a double CD set.

 Her Smile

 Uncle Don

The Center of the Earth Tour 2008 CD is a compilation of Electric Blue Sun’s performances over the past year, at several venues in the Puget Sound Area.

To cover all the great music we played, this project is a double CD, and even that was not really enough space.

From the more intimate clubs like Egan’s in Ballard and The Castle Key Restaurant located in the Manresa Castle in Port Townsend to the Shores of Lake Washington at the Wilde Rover in Kirkland back to the plains of Sequim at the James Center outdoor amphitheater for the performing arts, we re-introduced the northwest to that ancient form of music know as "jazz fusion" that few bands are still capable of playing. There are some truly inspired performances on these tracks and Jeff Wittekind has some of his finest moments playing lead guitar, with some brilliant punctuation by Bob Dickey, not to mention that I also have of my finer moments playing keyboards, especially on the Castle Key’s grand piano.

Hippo and Butterfly

Rain - endless shore

Music for films that haven't been made yet.

This collection represents the ambient, atmospheric, musical landscapes of the alternative universe within my mind.

Some cool electronic synthesizer textures with programmed percussion and rhythm tracks that conjure up scenes from distant shores and far away places.
This was originally produced as a demo for film work and some of the tracks have been used for multimedia visuals.

Both the double CD’s are priced at $20 each since they are double discs and the Retrospective CD is only $15 or two for $20.
